The Upper Mississippi Certified Forest Product Group is a collection of independent, local companies dedicated to the well being of the forestland and wilderness of Minnesota.
Forests in Aitkin County and the State of Minnesota have obtained Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®) certification for being managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable way. Think of it as a “Seal of Approval” for Forest Management.
The Upper Mississippi Certified Forest Product Group became FSC certified to sell certified wood products which bear the FSC label. That means products we sell originate from an FSC® Certified Forest.
